Hey Y'all,

Gina & I are glad that you took a minute to look over Emanuel's site & learn a bit about

Emanuel Church.

 

 

Here's a little about ourselves:

​

Gina & I have been joyfully married for a number of years & it's become our heart's desire to be more & more like Jesus everyday.  This has led us to share a passion for discipleship.  

​

We both had powerful life changing encounters with Jesus (a few years apart) that radically reoriented our hearts & lives.

​

The transformation we experienced in our hearts & lives sort of happened all at once; yet it's taken us years to work through.  It really just began when we encountered Jesus.  As such, our hearts & lives continue their transformation.  We've come to see that this change is a life long process & this is is where discipleship comes in.

​

Something happens when we commit to a small group & just a few of us join together regularly to share our lives with one another  (life on life: sharing struggles, successes, stumbles, joys) in the presence of the Holy Spirit, with God's word guiding us.  One person labeled it:

"The laboratory of the Holy Spirit."

​

Amazingly, the Holy Spirit works through

this process to accelerate our

growth, maturity, & transformation.

​
